Contract: Full Time, Temporary
Are you passionate about food and keen to support students in a dynamic learning environment? We are seeking a dedicated Food Tech Assistant to join our team in Basingstoke!
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Food Technology department with lesson preparation and classroom activities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and classroom areas
Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies and equipment
Help set up and clear away practical lessons and demonstrations
Ensure all health and safety standards are met
Provide support to students during practical sessions
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in food technology
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety (training can be provided)
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
