We are looking for a Food Technician to join our friendly and supportive team at our secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting students in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide practical support to the Food Technology department.
Prepare, maintain and clear away equipment and ingredients for practical lessons.
Ensure that classrooms, tools and equipment are safe, clean and ready to use.
Order and manage stock of ingredients and resources in line with budgets.
Support teachers and students during practical sessions, helping to create a safe and effective learning environment.
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Can work efficiently and independently as well as part of a team.
Understands food hygiene, health and safety regulations (training can be provided).
Is flexible, reliable and committed to supporting students' learning experiences.
