Food Technology Department
You’ll teach across KS3 and KS4 in a modern food room with specialist equipment and full-time technician support. Students follow a curriculum that includes nutrition, food science, hygiene, sustainability, and practical cooking skills.
Your Role
Deliver practical and theory lessons in Food Preparation and Nutrition; support students in GCSE coursework; promote healthy eating and sustainability; and contribute to enrichment like cookery clubs and competitions. Weekly mentor meetings and ECT coaching sessions will help embed strong routines and reflection.
Ideal Candidate
You have a relevant food or nutrition degree and are due to gain QTS by July 2025. You’re passionate about practical learning, enjoy working with young people, and thrive in an inclusive and creative teaching environment.
