We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Food Technology ECT to join a thriving and well-equipped DT department in a successful Reading secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive environment with modern facilities and a team committed to creative education.

Role Overview
You’ll teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 with a focus on practical skills, nutrition, food safety, and cultural understanding. Students are engaged and enjoy high levels of success in the subject.
Who We’re Looking For

Food Technology or Nutrition degree with QTS by July 2025

Enthusiastic and passionate about healthy living and food education
*
Ability to plan creative, hands-on and culturally aware lessons
*
Keen to participate in food clubs, enrichment, and student cooking events
