About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will join an experienced Design & Technology department and be responsible for delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
*
Ensure strong student progress through effective assessment and feedback
*
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment with a focus on food hygiene and safety
*
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
*
Take part in school-wide activities and events
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*
Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Has experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
*
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and classroom management
*
Is committed to student development and inclusive education
*
Works well both independently and as part of a team
