Organising enrichment opportunities such as cookery clubs and competitions

Contributing to curriculum design and resource development

Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health, and safety in lessons

Supporting students of all abilities with differentiated instruction
The ideal Food Technology Teacher will:

Hold QTS or PGCE in DT with a focus on Food Technology

Have up-to-date knowledge of nutritional guidance and food legislation

Be creative, organised, and confident in delivering practical and theoretical lessons

Be a team player who can contribute to the wider DT faculty
