A well-respected and inclusive secondary school in Yeovil is recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality food and nutrition education in a thriving Design & Technology faculty.
What the Role Involves
*
Deliver Food Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4 (and/or KS5 depending on interest)
*
Promote healthy eating, nutrition, and sustainability through hands-on, practical lessons
*
Support pupils with coursework and practical assessments at GCSE and BTEC levels
*
Lead cooking clubs, health weeks, and cross-curricular enrichment
Who We’re Looking For
*
A qualified DT/Food Tech teacher with QTS and experience in delivering the national curriculum
*
Confident with food safety and risk assessments in practical settings
*
Up-to-date knowledge of dietary guidelines and food education standards
*
Friendly and supportive with a strong classroom presence
