Your Role as a Food Technology (FT) Teacher:
Plan and teach practical and theoretical food technology lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Inspire students to understand nutrition, food science, and the importance of a balanced diet.
Guide students through hands-on cooking sessions, food safety practices, and creative culinary challenges.
Monitor achievement, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to individual needs.
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and inclusive classroom environment.
Foster curiosity and creativity in food preparation and presentation.
What We’re Looking For:
QTS, or equivalent qualifications in Food Technology or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching food technology in a school setting.
Strong classroom management and a passion for hands-on learning.
Able to engage students and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Committed to creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
