Are you a creative and engaging Food Technology Teacher passionate about supporting young people who face barriers to mainstream education?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive and well-established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Bromley-by-Bow, seeking a dedicated Food Tech Teacher to start in September for the full academic year. The school caters to secondary students who have been excluded from mainstream schools and require a tailored, nurturing approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons tailored to students with SEMH and behavioural needs
Foster a positive and safe learning environment
Work collaboratively with the pastoral and SEN teams to support behaviour and engagement
Promote life skills, healthy living, and hands-on learning
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Previous experience in PRU/SEMH settings desirable
Strong behaviour management skills
Passion for inclusive and alternative education
