The Role
As a Food Technology & Textiles Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 in Food Technology and Textiles
Develop students' practical skills, creativity, and understanding of design principles and nutrition
Use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with diverse abilities
Prepare students for assessments and encourage enthusiasm for the subject
Support extracurricular activities such as food clubs or textiles projectsPerson Specification / Requirements
To succeed, you will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Food Technology and Textiles in a UK secondary school setting
Be confident in delivering practical and theory lessons that engage students
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS
Have the legal right to work in the UK
