Job Description
Role: Electrical Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer (Foot Mobile)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Emergency call outs)
Hours: 8am - 5pm
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum (D.O.E)
Trevett Services have a fantastic opportunity available for an Electrical biased Engineer, to work with one of our key facilities management clients, supporting two sites with maintenance and repair works.
Your role would consist of carrying out electrical planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, minor installations, and to be the spokesperson for your role. As the only engineer onsite you are responsible for keeping a handle on what needs to be done and advising the client accordingly. You will need to have previous background in facilities, or retail, or leisure, or corporate environments working on maintenance. With a minimum of the 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualification.
Duties:
* To undertake routine PPM's and reactive maintenance.
* To conduct Fault Finding, Test and repair work on M&E Equipment.
* To undertake proactive and reactive repair work.
* To undertake minor electrical Installation work as required. (lights, sockets etc)
* Work in plant room environments, working from platforms. (All access training provided.)
* Complete documentation and record keeping of work conducted on the site's system.
* Proactively address call outs/ repairs when required.
* Attend emergency call outs, outside of working hours if required.
* Report Directly back to the Contract Manager
Requirements:
* City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Building Services.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)
* IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office and BMS System.
* Strong experience in fault finding, maintenance, and minor works.
* FM or building services background within leisure/ retail/ commercial/ office properties.
* Ability to work with Contract Support or Lone working.
Desirable Extra's:
* IPAF
* PASMA
* 2391 Testing & Inspection
* HVAC & Building Services Experience
