Job Description

My client are a civil engineering contractor with over 50 years experience in the civil engineering market. They are looking to onboard a foreman to help deliver highway and infrastructure projects across the UK. Accommodation is provided by our client. Foreman responsibilities: * Working closely alongside and reporting to the project manager and contracts manager. * Site supervision. * Daily briefings. * Record keeping. * Managing plant, labour and materials. * Managing health and safety. * Progress reports. * Liaising with the client, subcontractors and local authorities. Foreman requirements: * Right to work in the UK. * NVQ level 3 or equivalent. * SSSTS/ SMSTS. * First aid. * NRSWA - Desirable. * Experience with highways, drainage and civils. * Full UK driving licence. * Ability to work away from home. * IT literate.
