Job Description
Job Title: Forge Operator
Location: Leicestershire
Shift: Mon - Tues (2.30pm - 12.30am), Wed - Thurs (2.30pm - 12.15am). 15 minute paid break and half an hour unpaid break
Hourly Rate: £17.87 per hour

The Forge Operator Role:
Set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
Supporting in the production areas in the slitting and shot blasting
Undertake training on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace
Uses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications
Self certification of your personal work
Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times
Responsible for producing SPC charts and records
To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to
Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality
To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
The Candidate:
Previous hot forging or press brake experience preferred
Experience on hot press, slitter, and shot blasting required
Power press training preferred
