Job Title: Forklift Driver (FLT)
Location: Hunslet, Leeds LS10
Salary: £12.31 + Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp – Perm)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am – 6:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting hardworking Forklift Driver (FLT) to join a busy Fire door warehousing team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, including Scanning, Receiving, Storing, Picking & Packing, and Dispatching goods efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities of working as a Forklift Driver (FLT)
Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials
Pick and pack orders according to company procedures using a Forklift
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts
Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Report any damages, shortages, or issues to the supervisor
Skills and Experience for working as a Forklift Driver (FLT)
Must hold a valid Forklift Counterbalance License
Ideally have at least 2 years Forklifting experience
Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
Ability to lift and move stock safely
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
