Job Description

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Forklift Driver to begin work for a well-established company in the Telford area.

About the role:

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch, 8 hours paid per day)
Pay Rate – Competitive pay rate (DOE)
Brief Role Description – Working within a busy yard and warehouse environment handling ductile iron pipes and materials. Duties include forklift operation, loading and unloading artic lorries, order picking and preparing stock for dispatch.
Long-term work for the right candidate
Start: Monday 8th June

About You:

  * High work ethic & team player

  * Punctual & reliable

  * You must be a time served/qualified Forklift Driver

  * Valid forklift licence required

  * Previous warehouse, yard or dispatch experience preferred

  * Comfortable working with heavy materials and stock handling

Main Duties:

  * Load and unload artic lorries safely and efficiently

  * Pick orders from stock locations

  * Bundle and prepare orders for dispatch

  * Operate forklift trucks safely in line with procedures

  * Handle ductile iron pipe products and materials

  * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

PPE Required:

  * High visibility coat/vest

  * Hard hat

  * Safety boots
