Job Description

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for your next opportunity? MacGregor Black is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Forklift Driver for a permanent afternoon shift based in Birtley, Tyne and Wear.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, storage, and movement of goods while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  * Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently

  * Load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse

  * Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults

  * Maintain accurate stock handling and a clean, safe working environment

  * Support general warehouse duties as required

About You

  * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Reach licence desirable but not essential)

  * Previous forklift experience within a warehouse or distribution environment

  * Strong awareness of health and safety

  * Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
