Job Description
Position: Forklift Driver
* Location: Essex
* Salary: £13.39 per hour
* Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transport pallets of bananas and other fruits across the warehouse
* Move stock into ripening rooms or chilled storage as required
* Ensure all produce is handled carefully to maintain quality standards
* Keep accurate records of stock movements
* Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects
* Work closely with the warehouse and quality teams to ensure smooth flow of goods
* Follow all company health & safety procedures and site hygiene requirements
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift License
* Previous forklift experience, ideally in a warehouse or fresh produce environment
* Strong awareness of health & safety practices
* Physically fit and comfortable working in chilled environments
* Flexible and reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude
