Job Title: Forklift Driver - Heathrow Airport Cargo (Hounslow)
Location: Heathrow Airport, London
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and certified forklift driver to join a busy international cargo warehouse at Heathrow Airport. The role involves handling a wide variety of cargo, operating forklifts, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shift work, including nights, is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate counterbalanced forklifts to load/unload vehicles and move cargo safely.
Build, break down, and prepare pallets for shipment.
Use hand-held devices to locate, identify, and track cargo.
Process paperwork accurately in line with client requirements.
Handle special cargo products and perform manual handling tasks as needed.
Support general warehouse operations as required, including acting as a warehouse operative when necessary.
Requirements:
Valid counterbalanced forklift certificate.
Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
Ability to work flexible shifts (4 on / 2 off or 4 on / 4 off, including nights).
Strong team player, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing operational needs.
Must provide a 5-year checkable employment history with referees to meet Aviation Security standards.
