Job Description
Our client, a busy and growing organisation, is seeking a proactive Forklift Driver to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with practical experience and a hands-on approach to contribute to smooth daily operations while developing their skills further. The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence, Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence, access to their own transport, and prior experience operating a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift
Move and organise equipment around the yard safely and efficiently
Clean machinery, including removing parts as needed, and relocate to the workshop
Operate equipment to maintain machines to good standard
Load and unload vehicles, pick orders, and assist with stock management
Check returned equipment and report any maintenance or repairs required
Keep the yard and warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
Prepare and update transfer notes for stock between locations
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Be adaptable with working hours, including early starts when required
Take part in training to improve skills and support team development
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role
Forklift licence and experience operating machinery safely
Full driving licence and reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Team-oriented with a flexible and proactive approach to tasks
Comfortable using basic computer systems for task management
