Job Description
Role: Forklift Engineer (Workshop-Based)
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: Up to £45,000+ OTE (including Enhanced Overtime Rates & Plenty of Overtime Available)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
We are working with a brand-new site in Avonmouth looking for a proactive and experienced Forklift Engineer to join their growing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable, workshop-based role with great earning potential, ongoing training, and the chance to be part of a company that truly values its people.

Full site amenities, parking, and canteen facilitiesThe Role:
Service, repair, and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections to a high standard
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs and breakdown support
Maintain accurate service reports and assist with parts ordering where required
Support the wider team as the site continues to scale up its equipment fleet
Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards and H&S proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering – ideally electrically biased
Experience with electric forklifts preferred (no gas or diesel trucks on site)
Engineering background in Forklift, Plant, Agricultural, HGV, or Automotive considered
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
IT literate, personable, and reliable with a strong work ethic
Hydraulic experience is a plus
