Forklift Operative
Newton Abbot | £13.10+ per hour | Monday - Friday | Temporary Ongoing | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced Forklift Operative looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in Newton Abbot who is seeking a reliable and hands-on Forklift Operative to join their friendly logistics team.
This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to move stock between multiple on-site buildings.
Stack and move wooden pallets as required.
Complete daily forklift checks and report any maintenance issues.
Support the waste and recycling operations across the site.
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Pivot Truck Licence (must be in date).
Full UK Driving Licence.
Physically fit with a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work.
Hours:
Monday to Friday.
08:30am to 5pm.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting at £13.10 per hour (opportunity to increase with additional licences).
Weekly pay.
33 days holiday after 12 weeks.
Free on-site parking.
