Forklift Operator
Location: Immingham
Job Type: 12 hour shifts
Salary: £12.21- £15.07 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse/port/logistics team. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and load goods efficiently while ensuring safety and accuracy in all operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods and materials.
Transport pallets and cargo safely within the warehouse, yard, or port.
Check loads are secure and properly stacked.
Assist with general warehouse duties such as packing, picking, and organising stock.
Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Valid forklift licence/certification (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
Previous experience as a forklift operator is desirable.
Good awareness of health and safety in a warehouse/port environment.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks when required.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime.
