Job Description
STEM Recruitment solutions have an exciting opportunity for a forklift operative in the Murrayfield area of Edinburgh.
2 Shifts available: Dayshift Mon - Fri and Days/Backs rotation
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* General Labouring / forklift duties.
* Offloading inbound materials.
* Performing Warehouse duties in line with SOP’s
* Safe and orderly storage of goods in warehouse and yard
* (operating FIFO).
* Stock monitoring for accuracy/defects in accordance with relevant
* SOP’s
* Operating in a safe manner complying with all Health, Safety and
* Environment requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
* Participation in annual PI and cycle counts.
* Factory Waste Management i.e. internal skips/cardboard
Skills required:
• Prior work experience in a similar environment.
• Counterbalance forklift licence experience is essential, this can be inhouse or under their own tickets.
• Fit for manual handling.
• Accurate diligent worker, with care and attention to detail
