Forklift/Warehouse Operative
£13.00 - £15.00 per hour (37.5 hours per week)
Bedford
Shifts available:
* 6am - 2pm (Mon - Fri)
* 2pm - 12am (Midnight) (Mon-Thurs)
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative who has a counterbalance forklift licence to work in the busy dispatch department of a global, manufacturing company in Bedford.
Key tasks:
* Duties include the secure packaging and loading of large, heavy computer equipment before they are shipped to customers worldwide.
* A key aspect to the role includes the secure, protective wrapping of items and there are also general duties to ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy.
About you:
* Applicants need good communication skills and must be team players.
* There is a physical aspect to the job which requires being on your feet all day.
* We are looking for enthusiastic people who have a positive, can-do attitude.
Training is provided and experience in a similar environment is essential. While the work environment is busy with an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere, there is also pressure to meet strict deadlines.
