Job Description

Fostering Assistant Team Manager Tunbridge Wells (Area covers Surrey, Suxxex and Kent) £44,000 - £47,740 Permanent, Full-time (working from home flexibilities) Job Description: We are working with an Outstanding rated, Independent Fostering Agency who are looking for a new Assistant Team Manager to join their service which has a proven therapeutic approach within Fostering. This is a great opportunity for someone who is either experienced in the position and is looking to help grow the organisation or someone who is looking to develop in their career and step-up to Assistant Team Manager. Key Responsibilities: * Formal supervision and management of all social work staff in the local office. * Management, guidance and support of local administrative staff thus ensuring administrative tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner. * Case supervision of Clinical Practitioners (clinical supervision will be provided externally) * Attend and report to management meetings. * Responsibility for the compliance and continued development of the service * Work creatively to enable the team to deliver the support needed by children and young people in placement. * Allocate new tasks and responsibilities within the team and input into caseload discussions/decisions. * Ensure children and young people in placement are visited regularly in line with the service's procedures, and referred for specialist services as appropriate.
