About the Role
You will be joining a well-structured and organised team of around 30 individuals who are looking to grow the staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Dorset Council.
The team are involved in Mainstream assessment and post approval support. Kinship assessments (including Reg 24/Fostering/Special guardianship). Supported Lodgings assessment and support. Staying Put Run the Mockingbird model.
Day to day activities
You will plan own diary.
Full team meeting once a month and assessment team meeting once a month
Take turn in duty rota.
Role will be to complete approx. 4 kinship (fostering/SGO) through to completion to work between home and officeRequirements as a Social Worker include:
SWE Registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Drive and have access to a car
Post-qualified experience
