Foundry Operative.
Somerset (A303/A35/A3088 area).
£12.24 per hour (4 day week).
With an excellent reputation in the marketplace, my client is a leading manufacturing company specialising in cutting-edge casting solutions. They are seen by many as the “go to” supplier in their industry and as a result, they have a bursting orderbook and enviable client-base to match.
This secure organisation, has been established for over 50 years and due to strategic expansion, a number of opportunities have now arisen for Foundry Operatives to join them at their manufacturing facility in Somerset. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you will take ownership of a number of Foundry processes including dressing, grinding, linishing and fettling, to name a few, and my client is keen to speak to people with “hands on” Foundry experience, who will be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
In return, you will receive an hourly rate of £12.24 per hour (with a pay-rise due in early 2026) plus an excellent benefits package. You can also enjoy a long weekend, as the company operates on the working hours of Monday-Thursday 6.45am – 5pm.
My client is easily accessible from Chard, Tatworth, Wambrook, Ilminster and the surrounding areas and the area offers sensibly priced accommodation and a variety of lifestyle options to suite every taste - This would be a perfect opportunity for those living near cities and in search of a rural “way of life” closer to the beach!
