Job Description
Support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making in a manufacturing environment, focusing on cost control, production efficiency, and operational insights.Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans, incorporating production volumes and cost drivers.
* Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) on costs, margins, overhead, and production performance.
* Build financial models for scenario planning, including raw material price sensitivity and capacity utilization.
* Analyze product/plant profitability, standard costs, BOMs, and inventory impacts.
* Produce monthly reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for management and operations teams.
* Partner with procurement, supply chain, and plant managers on cost-saving initiatives and ad-hoc projects (e.g., make-vs-buy, expansions).
* Assist with month-end close, cash flow forecasting, and ERP data integrity.
Requirements
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* CIMA qualified or part-qualified (preferred; ACCA/ACA equivalents considered).
* 2+ years in FP&A, cost accounting, or finance within manufacturing/industrial sectors (advantageous).
* Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and tools like Power BI.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholdersBefore You Apply
