Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to join their team in Stevenage on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement FPGA solutions for various defence and security applications
Perform FPGA verification to ensure functionality and performance
Utilise VHDL for coding and designing FPGA architectures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into broader systems
Conduct testing and debugging to resolve any hardware or software issues in FPGA designs
Contribute to technical documentation and reporting

Job Requirements:

Experience in FPGA design and verification
Proficient in VHDL language
Background in the defence, automotive, space, or design consultancy sectors preferred
Ability to work fully on-site in Stevenage
Security Clearance (SC) must be obtained before starting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Additional Information:

Contract duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
Full-time work pattern, fully on-site
One-stage phone screen interview process
