Job Description

Freelance AV Installation Engineer
Cambridge Based Throughout May
  
We are working with a client supporting a university in Cambridge that requires an experienced AV Installation Engineer for w/c 11th and w/c 18th May.
  
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering high-quality AV installations across teaching spaces and campus environments.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
Installation of AV systems across lecture theatres, classrooms, and meeting spaces 
Cabling, termination, and containment work 
Rack build and equipment installation 
System setup and basic commissioning 
Working alongside project teams to deliver installs to a high standard    
Requirements:
  
Proven experience in AV installation environments 
Strong understanding of cabling and system integration 
Experience with rack builds and equipment setup 
Ability to work independently on site 
Own tools preferred    
Contract Details:
  
Freelance contract throughout May 
Based on site in Cambridge 
Competitive day rate
