 Location: Onsite (Manchester)
 Contract: Freelance / Ad-hoc support

About the Role

My client is looking for an experienced Freelance AV Technician to provide onsite support across their Manchester offices. This is a hands-on technical role delivering high‑quality meeting room support, preventative maintenance and break/fix services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite AV/IT support across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
Deliver meeting room setup, live event assistance, and technical troubleshooting
Carry out preventative maintenance on AV systems to ensure optimal performance
Respond to and resolve break/fix issues efficiently and professionally
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors when required
Maintain accurate logs, reports and equipment documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong background in AV systems, including videoconferencing (Teams, Zoom), displays, DSPs, microphones, control systems etc.
Confident supporting users in fast‑paced corporate environments
Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Professional, proactive, and customer‑focused approach
Ability to work independently on a freelance basis
