Freelance Façade Manager
Location: Manchester
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3-4 months
Contractor: Tier 1 Contractor
Project: High-Rise Residential Project
We are seeking an experienced Façade Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor for an exciting 12-month project in Manchester. You will play a pivotal role in managing the entire façade package for the construction of three high-rise apartment blocks, ensuring high-quality delivery and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full management of the façade package including:
o SFS (Steel Framing Systems)
o Windows
o Brickwork
o Cladding
o Terracotta glazed tiles
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure all works are completed on time
• Ensure quality, standards and budget are being met
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Site Engineer t
• Ensure seamless integration of the façade works with other project activities.
• Oversee quality control, health & safety and compliance
• Ensure that all façade installations meet both client and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, resolve any issues that may arise, and provide regular reports
Requirements:
• Proven experience managing façade packages, on high-rise residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of SFS, brickwork, windows, cladding, and terracotta tiles.
• Ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid are essential for the role
