Job Description

FREELANCE SITE MANAGER – SHEFFIELD – Immediate Start - £300 - £325 PER DAY (DOE) | CIS / UMBRELLA

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a Stadia Specialist on a live project at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.

This is initially a minimum 1-month contract providing long-term sickness cover for the current Site Manager, however, the contractor have secured further phases of work on the project, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking for multiple months of ongoing freelance work.

THE PROJECT

  * Sheffield Wednesday Football Club

  * Refurbishment and structural alteration works

  * Live environment requiring strong site management and coordination

  * Further phases already secured

THE ROLE

The successful Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  * Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating subcontractors

  * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme

  * Managing site health & safety and maintaining site records

  * Coordinating refurbishment and structural alteration works

  * Managing subcontractors and site labour

  * Liaising with the Project/Contracts Manager, client and other stakeholders

  * Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Stadia, Industrial, Leisure and/or Main Contracting. You should be confident taking ownership of a live site, managing subcontractors and working independently.

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as a Site Manager

  * SMSTS

  * CSCS

  * First Aid
