Job Advert: Freelance Site Manager – 6 Week Contract | Edinburgh City Centre
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a 6-week contract to oversee fit out and finishing works on a major new build construction project in Edinburgh City Centre.
📍 Location: Edinburgh City Centre
📅 Start Date: Friday, 7th June
📆 Duration: 6 weeks
🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
🔨 Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day site management of internal fit-out and finishing trades. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring close coordination with trades, subcontractors, and the wider project team to ensure work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with H&S regulations.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
*
Valid CSCS Card – Essential
*
First Aid at Work – Essential
*
Proven experience managing internal works/fit out packages on major projects
*
Strong leadership and communication skills
*
Ability to work proactively and problem-solve on site

Ensuring health and safety compliance on site

Coordinating subcontractors and managing daily activity

Maintaining quality standards and programme deadlines
