Job Description
Kenton Black are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager position in Aberdeen City Centre.
Our client is delivering a high-quality office fit-out in a prominent commercial building and is seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site operations. With a project duration of approximately 5 weeks and potential future works across the city, this opportunity suits a professional with proven delivery capability in fast-paced interiors projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site activities for a high-end office fit-out
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum
- Ensure all works are completed to specification, programme, and health & safety standards
- Maintain clear communication between the client, design team, and workforce
- Manage site documentation, compliance checks, and daily progress reporting
What You Bring:
- Strong background in fit-out or refurbishment site management
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid, and CSCS credentials (Gold or Black card preferred)
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to take ownership of site delivery and uphold best practices
- Local availability and flexibility for on-site presence in Aberdeen City Centre
