Freight Account Manager - Dublin - Up to 70,000 euros

Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Customer Relations
Strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
Develop relationships at all levels within customer organizations beyond the main point of contact.
Gain a thorough understanding of customers' businesses, strategies, and operational requirements.
Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up.
Maintain and update action item lists weekly.
Identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
Manage client profiles by location.
Conduct annual business reviews, with a minimum of one review per account each year.
Maintain customer information and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Business Development
Complete customer calls per week.
Submit a preliminary call schedule by Monday afternoon.
Use Mondays and Fridays for planning and follow-up activities.
Schedule customer visits and calls between Tuesday and Thursday.
Build and maintain territory maps, updating monthly to show account distribution by city.
Record and manage significant customer interactions through team-selling processes.
Involve sales and operations teams when appropriate.
Share weekly schedules with all departments to support coordinated customer visits.
Refer major business opportunities and proposals to the Sales team.
Operational Support
Communicate service issues to department managers and supervisors.
Assist with collections when required.
Support the efficient delivery of all local branch services.
Lead or assist in resolving customer issues, including those outside the local branch.
Ensure effective invoicing and payment processes are established and maintained.
Escalate operational issues to the Operations team when necessary.
Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain proficiency in company systems and product demonstrations to provide customer updates.
Continuously seek improvements in procedures and services to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Uphold ethical business practices and contribute to overall business success through professionalism, commitment, and attention to detail.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of Account Management experience.
Minimum 5 years of logistics, freight forwarding
Ability to clearly document and communicate customer requirements for internal teams.
Strong knowledge of logistics operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
