Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in export, import, and multimodal operations who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The role offers long-term career development and the chance to work with a knowledgeable and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer enquiries and provide accurate quotations.
Manage end-to-end Export and Import operations (Air, Road, and Ocean).
Liaise effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Ensure accurate costing, billing, and invoicing for all jobs.
Maintain compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Support warehouse operations occasionally when required.
Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure high service standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in freight forwarding across Export, Import, Air, Road, and Ocean operations.
Working knowledge of Customs procedures is essential.
Experience handling Dangerous Goods and/or Restricted/Defence Goods is highly advantageous.
Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
