Job Description
Deliver UK Ltd are a freight forwarder providing road, sea & air transport services to UK & internationhal based clients. We are looking for a Freight Forwarder to join our expanding team, to manage the growing portfolio of customers.
The role will mainly focus on service delivery to our client base,
Responsibilities
Build relationships with new and existing customers
Ensure logistics partners are performing against SLA’s
Actively track collections and deliveries to ensure on time and solve any problems that may arise.
Negotiate prices with clients and transport providers.
Chase PODs from completed loads.
Provide quotations for transport enquiries.
On call rota
The right candidate
Previous transport industry experience is a bonus but not essential (full training provided)
Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Ability to work in a fast-paced & pressured environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
