Freight Forwarder
Location: Belfast (NI), UK
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)
A leading multi-modal freight forwarding and logistics company in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its expanding operations team.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage shipments across multiple transport modes (road, sea, air, and rail)
Arrange bookings with carriers and third-party logistics providers
Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation
Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and solutions to any issues
Monitor shipments, ensuring timely delivery and handling any delays or disruptions
Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures and compliance standards
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role (multi-modal experience desirable)
Strong knowledge of transport documentation and customs procedures
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
IT proficiency, including use of freight management systems and Microsoft Office
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to customer service excellence
