Job Description
Are you a passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, with a specialism in French and/or Spanish, eager to share your love for language and culture with bright young women? We're looking for a fantastic permanent, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Barnet this September. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a real appreciation for languages and their rich cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll plan and deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, tailored for girls.
* The role involves fostering an appreciation for European and Spanish cultures and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the languages.
* You'll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French and/or Spanish.
* Native or near-native fluency in French and/or Spanish is, of course, essential.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for girls is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
