Job Description

Commercial Representative (French Speaking) Location: Witton, Birmingham Working Hours: 08:30am – 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 per annum About the Role We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Commercial Representative to join our busy Sales team. This is a varied and fast-paced position, combining customer service, administration, and sales support. You’ll be responsible for generating quotations, managing customer orders, and providing key support to internal departments including product management, planning and finance. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and issue daily quotations to customers, tracking progress and following up where required * Review and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance and accurate data entry in SAP * Maintain up-to-date quote and order registers, reporting regularly on performance metrics * Liaise with planning and operations teams to confirm inventory, lead times and material availability * Support the administration of product pricing agreements and company price lists across the UK and Europe * Provide regular communication with customers via phone, Teams and email * Assist with demand planning and product management activities in Excel What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales support/quoting role * Strong IT skills (Excel and MS Office essential; SAP experience an advantage) * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional manner * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Fluent in French (essential). German language skills would be a bonus Personal Attributes * Resilient and results-driven with a proactive attitude * Personable, approachable, and able to build strong working relationships * Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Honest, reliable, and committed to high standards of professionalism
