We are currently looking for a strong French-speaking Primary Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded preparatory school in South East London. The role is are full time to begin in September 20205. Ideally you will already have some experience working with children and young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education. Maybe you are taking a year out before doing your Masters or a PGCE?
As a French-Speaking Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support children in achieving their academic potential, with a particular focus on French language learning.
Encourage student engagement and foster a proactive approach to learning.
Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Help the teacher with behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting students' overall development.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, with excellent presentation and articulation.The ideal candidate will have:
French language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students
Some experience working with children, or those interested in pursuing a career in education.
A teaching assistant qualification, relevant experience, or a degree.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
A passion for working with young learners and helping them achieve their best.French-speaking graduates with experience working with children are strongly encouraged to apply.
