The Role
We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic French Teacher to join the school's successful Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) faculty. This position is initially offered on an interim basis, with the potential for extension or a permanent role for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), and to inspire students to develop a lasting love for languages and global culture.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, effective lessons in French to a range of year groups
*
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
*
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with SEND or EAL
*
Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and departmental planning
*
Promote cultural understanding and the value of language learning
*
Support with language-related clubs, trips, or events as appropriate
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experience teaching French at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
A creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
*
Commitment to inclusive education and the values of the school

A team player who is open to collaboration and ongoing professional development
