Quokka Education is proud to be working with one of Hampshire’s most respected secondary schools, located close to Basingstoke.
This high-achieving, community-focused school is seeking a talented French specialist (with some KS3 Spanish) to join their thriving MFL department - either immediately or from January/Easter 2026.
Current timetable: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Option to move to full-time from January 2026
If starting immediately: long-term supply until Christmas, paid to scale (M6 = £242.20 per day)
The Role
* Deliver engaging and well-structured French lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach Spanish at lower Key Stage 3 level
* Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, writing, and cultural understanding
* Work collaboratively within a strong, supportive MFL team
* Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4 (Spanish at KS3 desirable)
