Front of House/Administrator
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (occasional evenings and weekends required)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
We are seeking a highly organised and professional candidate to join our client's team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support to clients and internal departments within the art and antiques sector.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Client Services
Greet and assist visitors and contractors
Answer and direct telephone calls
Manage the central email inbox
Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area and meeting rooms
Produce and distribute internal calendars and reports
Administrative Duties
Liaise with internal teams to prepare documentation
File and maintain accurate records
Prepare and send weekly internal communications
Provide onsite support to team administrators
Operational Support
Assist with event day duties
Process requests and follow-ups
Collate RSVPs for events
Financial & Security Tasks
Take card payments, handle cash, and process online transactions
Maintain high levels of security at all times
Qualifications & Skills
Previous front of house or administrative experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Team oriented with a proactive approach
