About the Role As a Next.js Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and building a high-performance web application designed specifically for data quality management. This is a hands-on role that will see you contributing to every stage of the development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using Next.js and the React ecosystem. * Work closely with consultants performing Data Quality operations to translate requirements and mockups into elegant, intuitive user interfaces. * Build and integrate RESTful APIs and TRPC endpoints to connect the frontend with backend data stores and services. * Implement data visualisation components to help users monitor, assess, and improve data quality. * Develop and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation. * Optimise application performance for speed and scalability. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. * Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies relevant to web development and data quality. * Contribute to the ongoing improvement of software development practices. Required Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Proven experience building applications with Next.js and React. * Solid understanding of Typescript, and modern web-app packages (ShadCN, Tailwind, NextAuth etc) * Familiarity with data visualisation libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) is a plus. * Experience integrating with APIs (REST and GraphQL) and handling asynchronous data flows. * Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative software development workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment. Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience working on data quality, data management, or business intelligence applications. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures. * Good understanding of database modelling, normalisation and structuring * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices. * Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio. Knowledge of modern state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.). With a focus on usability and actionable insights, the platform enables users to: * Visualise data quality metrics in real-time dashboards. * Set up automated data validation and cleansing routines. * Track data lineage and maintain audit trails for compliance. * Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues efficiently. * Export detailed reports and integrate with other data tools. As a developer on this project, you will have the opportunity to influence the direction of a platform that addresses some of the most pressing challenges in today’s data-driven world. Frequently Asked Questions Is this a remote position? The position is fully remote. What is the team size? You’ll be joining a start-up team, made up of 5 Consultant specialists in the space. What technologies will I work with? Primarily Next.js and React, but also TypeScript, data visualisation libraries, REST/TRPC APIs, and modern development tools. Most technologies we are currently implementing are within the T3 Stack – or T3 Recommended applications – as well as cutting edge Data technologies such as Polars
