Functional Skills Tutor - Daventry
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Functional Skills Tutor to join one of our exceptional partner colleges in Northamptonshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young people in developing essential Maths, English, and employability skills, preparing them for future independence and meaningful employment.

The Role:
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and English Functional Skills (Entry Level to Level 2).
Embed employability and life skills into lessons to help students gain confidence in real-world contexts.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs and styles.
Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback.
Work closely with support staff to create an engaging and inclusive classroom experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and English, ideally within a post-16 or SEND setting.
A passion for supporting students with diverse needs and helping them prepare for adulthood and employment.
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
