Job Description

Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons suited to the student's current level and learning style. Focus on developing key Functional Skills in English and Maths (and additional subjects if relevant). Track progress and adapt lessons accordingly. Communicate regularly with the parent/guardian regarding progress and areas for improvement. Requirements Experience teaching or tutoring Key Stage 3 students, ideally with knowledge of the Functional Skills curriculum. A calm, encouraging, and flexible approach to learning. Ability to tailor sessions to meet individual needs and build confidence. (Optional) Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
