Key Responsibilities:
Teach functional skills in English, Maths, and ICT to learners across various levels, from Entry Level to Level 2.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Assess learners' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Develop and adapt lesson plans and learning materials to meet the needs of individual learners.
Provide one-on-one support and create a supportive learning environment.
Track and monitor learner attendance and progress, ensuring targets are met.
Key Requirements:
Experience in teaching functional skills, GCSE, or adult education (desirable).
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or QTS) (desirable).
Strong knowledge of functional skills curricula (English, Maths, and ICT).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
Ability to work flexibly and independently.
