This well-resourced provision offers a dynamic learning environment with a strong focus on vocational studies and holistic student development—both in and out of the classroom. This is a great oppotunity for the right Functional Skills tutor.
We’re currently seeking a committed Functional Skills Tutor to join the team on a long-term basis, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be delivering Maths and English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, supporting their academic progress and preparing them for GCSE exams.
What we’re looking for:
• QTS with a Maths or English specialism, or proven experience in a similar role (ECTs and Instructors welcome)
• Experience teaching Functional Skills/GCSE Maths and English up to KS4
• Confident classroom management skills
• Familiarity with academic tracking systems like BKSb is desirable
